Shipping and Delivery Policy
3.1 Delivery Area
Mega Hardware provides delivery to supported locations within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Delivery availability, cost and estimated delivery time may vary according to:
- Customer location;
- Product size and weight;
- Product availability;
- Delivery method; and
- Special handling requirements.
Some remote locations may require additional time or delivery charges.
3.2 Delivery Charges
Applicable delivery charges will normally be displayed during checkout or communicated before completion of the order.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Remote delivery locations;
- Oversized or heavy products;
- Special handling;
- Re-delivery; or
- Return collection requested by the customer.
3.3 Delivery Time
Mega Hardware aims to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe communicated during checkout or following order confirmation.
Delivery estimates are indicative and are subject to:
- Product availability;
- Customer location;
- Supplier availability;
- Weather;
- Traffic;
- Public holidays;
- Force-majeure events; and
- Other circumstances outside Mega Hardware's reasonable control.
Some products may be shipped or delivered directly by the supplier or manufacturer.
3.4 Customer Delivery Information
Customers must provide accurate:
- Full name;
- Mobile telephone number;
- Delivery address;
- Area;
- Building details; and
- Any relevant delivery instructions.
Mega Hardware shall not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
3.5 Delivery Contact
The customer may receive a call, SMS or other notification before or during delivery.
The customer should ensure that a reachable telephone number is provided.
If the delivery team cannot reach the customer, the delivery may be rescheduled.
Additional delivery charges may apply for repeated delivery attempts where the failed delivery resulted from incorrect customer information or customer unavailability.
3.6 Receiving the Order
Customers are encouraged to inspect the external condition of packages upon delivery.
Where possible, any visible:
- Damage;
- Missing package;
- Incorrect item; or
- Packaging issue
should be reported promptly to Mega Hardware.
Customers should retain their:
- Order confirmation;
- Invoice;
- Delivery note; and
- Original packaging
until they have confirmed that the products are correct and functioning properly.
3.7 Large and Heavy Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery access is reasonably suitable for the size of the purchased product.
This may include confirming:
- Door dimensions;
- Staircase access;
- Elevator size;
- Building access; and
- Any access restrictions.
Where a product cannot reasonably be delivered because of access restrictions that were not disclosed before delivery, re-delivery or return charges may apply.
3.8 Installation and Assembly
Unless specifically stated otherwise, standard delivery does not include:
- Assembly;
- Installation;
- Electrical connection;
- Plumbing work;
- Drilling;
- Mounting; or
- Removal of existing equipment.
Installation services, where available, may be separately quoted and subject to additional terms.
3.9 Delayed Delivery
If an order experiences a substantial delay, customers may contact Mega Hardware customer service for an updated delivery status.
Where Mega Hardware cannot reasonably fulfill an order, the affected item may be cancelled and any amount paid for that item refunded.
3.10 Failed Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- The customer is unavailable;
- The address is incorrect;
- Access is unavailable; or
- The customer refuses delivery without a valid product-related reason,
Mega Hardware may charge reasonable re-delivery or return transportation costs where permitted.
