The Makita DHR182 rotary hammer is an 18mm cordless combination hammer powered by 18v LXT Li-ion battery and features a brushless motor that improves battery run-time by around 30%. This model has three operating modes, rotary hammer for masonry drilling, rotary only for wood, steel, and plastic and hammer only for chiselling.

The DHR182Z is compact, lightweight and includes AVT (anti-vibration technology), making it the perfect tool for all-day drilling and is packed full of handy features including constant speed control, one-touch slide chuck and an ergonomic grip for firm control. It has a powerful 1.7 J hammer action and maximum drilling capacities of 18mm in concrete, 24mm in wood, and 13mm in steel.
