The long-term insulation capabilities of the box are ensured by the walls and lid filled with polyurethane foam.
If you want to extend the time that the contents of the box stay cold, you can of course use cooling inserts, or you can fill the inside of the box around drinks and food with ice. You can then simply drain the melted ice through the valve.
