Apply the material to the right place within 10 minutes and press firmly or tap lightly with a rubber hammer. If necessary, clamp or fasten heavy materials for 4 hours. Hand-tightened after 2 hours, the joint is now strong enough for transport or a light load. Maximum final strength after approx. 4 hours, depending on substrate (at least 1 porous material) and ambient conditions. Sealing: Apply the sealant evenly to the bottom of the joint and smooth within 10 minutes with a damp putty knife (soapy water without lemon), a sealant spreader or your finger. Smooth vertical joints from bottom to top. Hardening is complete after a few days (depending on the thickness of the layer). When repainting with alkyd paints, the paint may dry more slowly. Use white spirit to remove wet glue residue.
