General description:

Water-based smoothing putty is used to level interior surfaces (Vinyl Acetate Copolymer), it is applicable on both old and new surfaces.

Special Properties:

• Elastic properties.

• High permeability.

• Filling properties.

• Excellent adhesion.

• Easy to sand after drying.

• Odorless, Mercury-free and Lead-free.

• Environmentally friendly, non-toxic and non-flammable.

Application steps:

1.Preparation of surface:

• Scrape the surface well to remove plaster particles, dust, oil… etc.

• Treat all cracks, chips and all damage by using QP. CRACK.

• Surface must be dry when applied.

2. Priming:

To maintain the surface stability and to achieve the highest adhesion; it is recommended to prime the surfaces, using QP. BOND in a ratio of 1:5 QP. BOND to water.

3. Application:

• Apply two or three coats of SILKYCOAT as needed with thickness by using a normal trowel or a stripping knife.

• Apply coats considering drying time per coat.

• Do not apply if temperature is below 5°C.
