3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Gasket Maker GM74 is an orange, one-component anaerobic sealant formulated to replace pre-cut gaskets, O-rings or used as form-in-place gaskets. They cure at room temperature and seal rigid assemblies of any shape or size. They can be used to fill pits, scratches, and gouges in the flange surface without having to grind or skim the mating surfaces.

Eliminates the Need for Pre-Cut Gaskets
Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Gasket Maker GM74 can be applied straight from the tube or by tracing, roll coating, or screen printing to provide an instant low pressure seal, eliminating the need for pre-cut gaskets, reducing weight, inventory and costs. In the absence of oxygen and in the presence of metal, this modified urethane acrylate (in paste form) cures quickly to a polymer that seals, secures, and retains. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Gasket Maker GM74 (PDF, 141.88 Kb) withstands temperatures as high as 300°F (149°C) and does not shrink, crack, sag or run for use on rigid flanges and to seal metal assemblies.
